See the most prized automobiles with unmatched ambiance this August in Oxford
There may be no showcase of luxury automobiles anywhere in the world that tops the grandeur of the Salon Privé. This year the concours will run from August 28–31 on the exquisite grounds of Blenheim Palace in Oxfordshire.
The absolute peak of each carmaking era will be on display. From pre-war classics to legendary racers and state-of-the-art supercars, there’s something for every automotive enthusiast.
Beyond the wheels, Salon Privé guests will mingle with the elites of the global car-collecting community. With champagne in hand and a fascinator on your head, it is the place to see and be seen this August.
As befits such a gathering, chartering a private jet is the best way to arrive. You won’t have to fight the crowds at London Heathrow Airport and make the hour-plus journey to Oxford. Instead, you’ll arrive at London Oxford Airport (EGTK), a mere five minutes from Blenheim.

The Setting
A gathering of the world’s most stunning automobiles deserves an equally magnificent setting. Blenheim Palace is the hereditary home of the Dukes of Marlborough. Built between 1705 and 1722 in the English Baroque style, it is one of the largest houses in England.
As the seat of the Churchill-Spencer family for over 300 years, Blenheim was the birthplace of Sir Winston Churchill. Its grand façades have been a backdrop for dozens of films and television programs.
The Events
MotorAvia is the opening party of Salon Privé, held the night before, on Tuesday, August 27, at London Oxford Airport. You’ll see the latest private jets from Cessna, King Air, Citation, and more, plus the newest Bell helicopters.
The main competition is held on Wednesday and Thursday, with the Best in Show ceremony taking place on Thursday at 3 pm.
Style Friday is a chance to don your finest summer wear for a day of champagne, shopping, and luxurious hospitality. Boodles will award a special prize to Best Hat.
Saturday is for supercars. Over 1,500 privately owned sports cars will be on display across the north and south lawns. Tickets to all the events and showcases are available now.
Where to Stay
Oxford offers numerous charming accommodations if you need a home base during the Salon Privé. We love the boutique Randolph Hotel, just steps from Oxford College in the center of town.
The Old Bank Hotel is situated on Oxford’s High Street. This five-star marvel of design has luxurious appointments in every room. Its balconies offer views of Oxford’s most famous landmarks.
Where to Eat
You can book private dining opportunities on the grounds of the Salon Privé, along with champagne and high tea services throughout the week. But if you want to explore other dining in the area, there are a few outstanding restaurants to put on your radar.
The most lauded dining in the area is Le Manoir aux Quat’Saisons. The scenery is magnificent, situated on the grounds of a charming country house. The two-Michelin-starred menu is the work of acclaimed French chef Raymond Blanc. It draws inspiration from the hotel’s vast garden complex, producing over 250 varieties of organic fruits and vegetables.
