Monaco Yacht Show 2024
The world’s most glamorous watercraft will shine on the French Riviera this September
The Monaco Yacht Show, held annually in Monaco’s Port Hercule, is the must-see event in the world of luxury boating. It’s your gateway to the superyacht lifestyle. You’ll see the hottest crafts on the market and mingle with the experts and enthusiasts of the yachting world.
Global Air Charters will help you make an apropos arrival at the Monaco Yacht Show (MYS). We’ll fly you directly to Nice Cote d´Azur Airport (LFMN) in one of our Gulfstream airframes and then arrange your travel to Monaco. We have several ground transportation partners in the area, but we think a helicopter charter would suit the occasion even better.
Contact our flight coordinators to reserve your airframe to Monaco this September. Here’s how to see the MYS in style.
Experience the Monaco Yacht Show
This year’s MYS takes place September 26–28. Boating enthusiasts will marvel at over 120 superyachts available for purchase or charter, plus 50 luxury tender boats and dozens of exhibitors. You’ll see the latest marine innovations, accessories and gadgets, luxury appointments (just checking this word – not sure what a luxury appointment is…), and sustainable solutions for yacht ownership.
There are day passes available for the exhibition’s main attractions, but we recommend upgrading to the Sapphire Experience. If you’re serious about building a new yacht, this is how to gain insider knowledge. This VIP package includes courtesy cars, private cocktails with industry experts, gala evenings, and more.
While you peruse the harbor and exhibitions, make sure to relax for a moment in the Upper Deck Lounge. There you’ll be treated to the latest trends in yacht interiors. You can meet with the designers over a glass of champagne and discuss your dream yacht furnishings.
Where to Stay
The most famous hotels in Monaco, like the Hôtel de Paris and Hôtel Hermitage Monte-Carlo, may already be booked this late in the season, but Monaco has plenty of luxury lodging for MYS attendees.
We recommend Port Palace, a boutique hotel directly on the Port Hercule. You’ll have breakfast on the terrace of its La Môme restaurant as you gaze out over the superyachts moored in the harbor.
Where to Eat
Monaco is known for catering to the global elite and its array of five-star restaurants attests to that prestige. After a day at the yacht show, treat yourself to one of these gourmet experiences.
Le Louis XV at the Hôtel de Paris is the epitome of resplendent French dining. World-famous chef Alain Ducasse headlines this three-Michelin-starred temple of gastronomy. Go for exquisite Mediterranean cuisine paired with a remarkable wine list.
You’ll find Yoshi, the best Japanese restaurant in Monaco, in the Hôtel Metropole. The sushi chefs there exhibit flawless technique but don’t sleep on the restaurant’s other fish dishes. The grilled black cod is a showstopper.
Chef Marcel Ravin transports guests to the West Indies at Blue Bay in the Monte-Carlo Bay Hotel and Resort. His creative cuisine is a refined take on tastes from his childhood in Martinique. Get the catch of the day and enjoy the lavish setting on the edge of the Larvotto Peninsula.
Beyond the Yachts
It may be hard to take your eyes off them, but there is more to Monaco than just yachts. We highly recommend all visitors take a tour of the famous Casino de Monte-Carlo. This iconic landmark is a showcase of Monaco’s glamorous past. Even if you’re not gambling, the architecture alone is worth the visit.
The Prince’s Palace of Monaco offers guided tours and stunning views over the city. Visit during the changing of the guard ceremony at 11:55 AM daily. The centuries-old tradition features trumpet playing and plenty of pomp and circumstance.
You can’t leave without browsing the Metropole Shopping Monte-Carlo. It’s Monaco’s central location for the best high-end boutiques.
