Where did you grow up?
I grew up near the Twin Cities in Minnesota.
What education and certifications do you hold?
I have an Associate of Applied Science in Aviation from Gallatin College and a Bachelor of Science in Business Management from Montana State University. Additionally, I hold numerous flight ratings and certificates, including Multi-Commercial Certification, Gulfstream GIV, Gulfstream GV, and Flight Instructor ratings.
How does GAC stand apart from other private charters?
Personal touch. GAC is a small company, and we are all like a family, which shows how we all get along; our customers like to see that.
Reliability is the other important factor. In the rare event that something goes wrong, we will go out of our way to make sure travelers get to their destination.
What is one specific moment with a customer that made you realize why you do what you do?
I would have to say flying NASA astronauts back home from training. I was personally able to congratulate one of them on the announcement of inclusion in the Artemis Project.
What is your favorite thing about working for GAC?
Visiting new places around the world with my coworkers.
What is your favorite occasion to celebrate while flying?
Birthdays!
What motivates you to do the best on the job?
I love to give customers a positive experience when flying.
What makes a good pilot?
The ability to deal with unforeseen issues while staying calm is imperative.
What was your most memorable mission with Global Air Charters?
Hanging out with NASA employees on a remote US airbase in Greenland.
What do you like to do when you aren’t flying?
I enjoy many outdoor activities, including skiing, hiking, mountain biking, and fishing.
What is your favorite travel destination? Why?
Scandinavia. It is a beautiful region, and much of my family still lives there, and I enjoy visiting them.
