A private jet is the best way to arrive at this highly anticipated shareholder gathering.
Visitors from around the globe will land in Omaha, Nebraska, for Berkshire Weekend this May. The Berkshire Hathaway Annual Shareholders Meeting 2025 will be on Saturday, May 3, 2025, at the CHI Health Center in Omaha.
The weekend is an excellent opportunity to hear from one of the world’s most legendary financial analysts. But perhaps more importantly, it’s a chance to network with like-minded investors to stay current on the trends and forecasts that will pay off in the coming years.

Berkshire Weekend
On Saturday, May 3, shareholders have the opportunity to hear directly from the Oracle of Omaha himself. Chairman and CEO Warren Buffett will answer questions during two sessions in the morning and early afternoon. The official shareholders meeting is from 2 to 4 pm that afternoon.
After the meeting, Nebraska Furniture Mart, part of the Berkshire portfolio, will host a picnic at their Omaha store location, with food and live entertainment.
The next morning, Sunday, May 4, get up early for Berkshire’s annual “Invest in Yourself” 5K run from 8 to 11 am. You can run, jog, or just walk the course that winds through the streets of downtown Omaha, beginning at the Gene Leahy Mall.
Where to Eat in Omaha
The dining scene in Omaha punches above its weight for a city of its size and location. It’s long been a steak town, and everyone has their favorite spot. Buffett’s choice is reportedly Gorat’s, which has served steaks to Omahans and global dignitaries for over 80 years.
We’ve had some terrific meals at Boiler Room. The restaurant is committed to featuring local produce, which can be difficult to do in the chilly Midwest. Their menus change weekly based on availability, but expect some excellent local steaks and charcuterie and a killer cocktail list that highlights local distillers.
About a year ago, the Washington Post turned heads with the provocative headline: “One of America’s Best Sushi Restaurants is in Omaha.” They weren’t lying. Yoshitomo and its new omakase annex, Ota, serve sushi on par with the best in New York or L.A.
If you need a quick lunch downtown, we like the elevated staple sandwiches at Block 16. The Reuben sandwich was invented in Omaha. Locals say the best one is at Crescent Moon (which is also one of the best beer bars in town).
For dessert, head to eCreamery in Dundee. This ice cream shop is an alumnus of “Shark Tank” and Buffett was once photographed taking Paul McCartney here for a scoop.
While You’re in Town
Visit Omaha’s Old Market, the city’s most exciting shopping and entertainment district, a short walk from the convention center. You’ll find local art galleries, boutiques, pubs, jazz clubs, and dozens more dining options.
There are several hotels right near the conference center. We like The Farnam, Autograph Collection best. It’s located within the Old Market and has the finest accommodations and amenities of any hotel in town.
