2024 – A Half Story

A message from Michael Vanacore-Netz, CEO, Global Air Charters

As the first half of 2024 is now in the books, I had a chance to look at the numbers. My focus as CEO rests on our performance year over year as well as our performance against the market.

The data tells a story. This story fills me with pride and gratitude for the dedication and hard work that our people consistently show.

Global Air Charters saw a 24% increase in sales volume when comparing the first half of 2024 vs the first half 2023. Projecting for the remainder of 2024, we are on pace for an increase of 35% in volume year over year.

FAA data shows that charter volume is down over 13% in 2024 versus the same period in 2023. Global Air Charters volume is up 32% for the first half of 2024. Top off these impressive figures knowing that we maintain a 99.8% dispatch reliability fleetwide.

The first six months of 2024 also saw Global Air Charters’ first block-hour agreement. We inked and began operations on the 800 flight-hours deal which expands our exposure and presence to overseas markets.

With ever-increasing volatility in fuel pricing, with two ongoing conflicts in the Middle East and Europe, and with recession fears plaguing the domestic market, I am extremely proud of our 2024 story thus far. From operations, dispatch, and maintenance to sales, marketing, flight crew, and cabin crew, the Global Air Charters team has delivered amazing results. Thank you to everyone who has worked diligently to make this story happen.

Thank you to our clients and our brokers. We value the relationships we’ve built, and I look forward to continuing to grow together.

As always, Global Air Charters stands by our name and values…integrity, honesty, transparency, and reliability. We strive to do the right thing at the right time in the right way.

That’s a story that’s worth telling. I am so very proud to be a part of it all.
