The world’s largest boat and yacht showcase heats up the Magic City
If you’re considering when to buy your next big boat, or you just like sipping cocktails and touring yachts, let GAC charter you to South Beach this February.
The Discover Boating Miami International Boat Show will showcase all the latest innovations in watercraft from February 12–16, 2025. This is your best opportunity this winter to discover the newest models and most luxurious trends in the yachting world.
Global Air Charters’ clientele love taking weekend getaways to southern Florida. Whether for the Formula 1 Miami Grand Prix or a sunny Spring Break, we have deep expertise flying in the area.
Contact our flight coordinators to reserve your airframe for Miami this February. Here’s how to make the most of your time at the Miami International Boat Show.
Yachts Rock
From kayaks to catamarans, powerboats and sailboats, to the most resplendent superyachts on the water, every type of craft will be on display in Miami. There’s no better opportunity to consider all your options, interface with manufacturers, and customize your next boat purchase.
The on-land portion of the event will take place at the Miami Beach Convention Center and Pride Park. Most of the boats will be moored at Venetian Marina and Yacht Club, Herald Plaza, and Museum Park Marina.
Yacht Haven Grande Miami is where you’ll find the show’s superyachts. The largest and most impressive vessels will be there, so reserve your tickets to this VIP gathering first. You might also consider Windward VIP Club tickets, which provide access to the superyacht marina, along with exclusive lounges and complimentary water taxis between the show locations.
Magical Dining
Miami is one of the best cities in America to take a food tour. Your options are nearly unlimited — from fresh seafood on South Beach to Cuban fare on Calle Ocho. But we’d recommend two newer restaurants that have become instant classics.
Sunny’s is the hottest new restaurant in Miami. The rooms are stunning — an old-school steakhouse vibe meets classic Art Deco Miami stylings. Go for wagyu carpaccio and a world-class raw bar. Get a table outside to sit beneath a towering banyan tree.
We also love Elastika, close to the marinas in Miami’s Design District. Housed in a stunning atrium beneath a dramatic Zaha Hadid sculpture, the food is as artful as the space.
Cocktail Hotspots
If you spin around and point a finger, you’ll probably land on a great cocktail bar in Miami. But we have two top-notch recommendations close to the boat show.
Just blocks from the Museum Park Marina, ViceVersa is a trendy new spot focusing on Italian-style aperitivos. Go for Negronis and share a couple of Neapolitan-style pizzas. Over by the convention center, we love the tropical drinks at Sweet Liberty. Give us a pineapple daiquiri and a platter of oysters.
While You’re in Town
The Bohemian district of Coconut Grove is hosting the 61st annual Coconut Grove Arts Festival (February 15–17, 2025). Over 100,000 people attend this outdoor festival every year. Experience the synergy of art, food, and live music as you stroll through Regatta Park and admire the works of 280 juried artists.
Make it a week-long stay in Miami by sticking around for the South Beach Wine & Food Festival (February 20–23, 2025). Meet Food Network personalities, sample wines at the legendary Fontainebleau, and attend events from burger bashes to grilling showdowns.
Miami International Boat Show
Global Air Charters is flying to all the major boating exhibitions this year. We’re eyeing the Bahamas Charter Yacht Show in January and the Dubai International Boat Show later this spring. Contact our flight coordinators to touch down at any of these yachting events in style.
