Where did you grow up?
I grew up in Toledo, Ohio
What education and certifications do you hold?
I have a Bachelors of Science from The Ohio State University. I have a single engine land, multi engine land, as well as a single engine sea (seaplane) rating as well as being typed in the Gulfstream IV and V.
What makes GAC stand apart from other private charters?
GAC stands out from other charters because of all the diversity and variety of experience in the pilots and cabin crew we employ. It is a great environment to learn and grow.
What is your favorite thing about working for GAC?
The variety of the missions. From domestic to international, private charter to working with NASA, it has been a great experience with every day presenting new challenges.
What motivates you to do the best on the job?
Getting our customers to their destination as safely and efficiently as possible and seeing the satisfaction they have when stepping off the plane.
What specific moment made you realize why you do what you do?
Those early moments when the sun is rising, you are getting the plane ready for a day of flying, and the crew is working together to accomplish the mission, it is a great feeling.
In your opinion, what makes a good pilot?
A good pilot is always learning.
What do you enjoy most about your position?
I enjoy working closely with the captains and learning from all their experience.
What was the most fun you’ve had on the job?
The most fun I’ve had on the job has been spending time with the crew in places like London, Geneva, Como, and other spots.
What is your favorite plane to fly?
The Gulfstream V
What memory will you never forget while flying with GAC?
I will never forget flying into some beautiful places, like Vancouver with all its greenery and mountains, or into the desert of Riyadh, or over northern Greenland on the way back from Europe.
What do you like to do when you aren’t flying?
I like to play guitar, go hiking, read, and try to explore as much as I can.
What is your favorite travel destination? Why?
Anywhere in Europe! There is so much to see and do!
